Bekasi, November 30, 2024 – The Faculty of Medicine, President University, successfully organized the Blood Donation and Thalassemia Screening event at its campus. This event was a collaboration between the Faculty of Medicine and the social foundation "Act Your Thoughts Movement", founded by Jihane Almira, Miss Tourism Indonesia 2020.
The event saw active participation from students of the 2023 and 2024 cohorts, who, under the direct supervision of faculty members, contributed to various activities, including:
This event was designed not only as a community service program but also as an educational initiative integrated with the students’ learning modules in Block 1.4 Life Process and Dynamics and Block 2.3 Comprehensive Hematoimmunology System. The hands-on involvement provided students with valuable practical experience in applying their medical knowledge directly to real-world scenarios.
