FK PresUniv Collaborates with DKSH to Hold Round Table Discussion on Office Syndrome


Cikarang, October 21, 2024 – The Faculty of Medicine (FK) at President University, in collaboration with DKSH, successfully held a Round Table Discussion on the topic of Office Syndrome. This event marks a strategic collaboration between medical professionals, academics, and industry leaders. Representatives from various companies in the Jababeka Industrial Area, including PT. Unilever and other manufacturing companies, were in attendance.

The discussion aimed to strengthen the Academic Health System program within the Jababeka industrial zone and to prepare for future research activities focusing on Office Syndrome in the area. One of the key goals was to align the perspectives between medical academics and the industry on this important health issue.

Organized by FK President University, the event featured expert speakers from FK Universitas Padjadjaran, including Dr. Ardini Saptaningsih Raksanagara, dr., M.PH, a specialist in occupational health, and Dr. Sri Yusnita I, dr., M.Sc, an epidemiologist from the Department of Public Health at FK Unpad.

The event attracted a wide range of participants, including faculty members and doctors from various departments at President University, such as the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Art and Design, Faculty of Social Sciences, Faculty of Computer Science, and the Faculty of Engineering. Students from FK Unpad and the Faculty of Computer Science at President University, as well as medical professionals and representatives from companies in the Jababeka area, were also present.

This collaborative event not only opened pathways for future research but also strengthened partnerships between academia and industry, with a shared vision to address Office Syndrome, a growing concern in the workplace today
