On August 16, 2024, the Faculty of Medicine at President University (FM PresUniv) held an Elective Block event that resulted in 28 scientific papers ready for publication. As part of the Elective Block assignment, FM PresUniv students were tasked with creating scientific posters, which were then presented during the event.
The Block was led by dr. Radite Nusasenjaya, MKK., Sp.OK, with the aim of enhancing the academic and research skills of medical students. The scientific poster presentations were conducted in English as part of an effort to improve the international competence of the students.
The posters were evaluated by FK PresUniv lecturers who are experts in their fields. In addition to the academic community, the event was also attended by the general public, who were interested in seeing the students' research outcomes.
As a follow-up to this event, the 28 scientific papers produced by the students will be submitted to medical journals and are ready for publication. This initiative is expected to make a significant contribution to the field of medicine while also enriching the academic experience of FM PresUniv students.
